If there is a system failure or a power outage, the manual release key allows the gate to be opened. To open the gate, insert the key into the triangular-shaped plug at the bottom of the actuator, and proceed to turn the key counter-clockwise until the key stops.
To release the manual function and restore automatic operation, turn the key clockwise.
